KUB offers a variety of part-time, hourly positions for college students. These positions are available throughout the year to enable students to gain valuable work experience while pursuing their education. Students work a minimum of 15 hours each week, working around their unique class schedules, until graduation. Program requirements for KUB positions include full-time student status and maintaining a 2.5 or greater GPA.

Student interns support a variety of fields at KUB, including:

And more! These are only a few of our most common student opportunities. In addition to these groups, students perform business support in areas like operations and construction, planning and maintenance, customer service, and a variety of other functional areas across the organization. 

Co-Op Positions

In addition to these part-time, year-round positions, KUB offers co-op opportunities for Engineering students. These rotations allow students to get an even more immersive experience in the world of public utilities.
