Capacity, reliability, and service make the KUB electric system attractive to all users, especially high-tech and high-volume industries. KUB's commitment to employee training, system renewal and replacement, and computer outage analysis helps ensure system reliability. 

KUB provides electric service to approximately 198,000 customers in Knoxville and portions of Knox and six surrounding counties.

KUB also collaborates with customers to address such specific needs as designing Uninterrupted Power Supply systems and developing power quality programs.

Standard delivery voltages include 161kV, 69kV, 13.2kV and 7.62kV.
