Community Cleanup

KUB employees and family members annually collect bags of garbage from the shores of the Tennessee River along with other participants in River Rescue. Ijams Nature Center
sponsors the communitywide cleanup.

The KUB Employees Association (KUBEA) adopted two miles of Middlebrook Pike in front of KUB’s Operations Center in 1993 as part of the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Adopt-a-Highway program. Each year, volunteers meet three or four times to pick up trash along the highway.
