Homes and businesses that participate in Green Power Switch are already doing something good for the environment. Now, TVA and participating power distributors offer consumers even greater opportunity to support the growth of Green Power in the Tennessee Valley. It’s called Generation Partners®.

To participate, KUB customers must install a solar, wind, low-impact hydropower, or biomass generation system up to 200 kilowatts. Generation Partners participants receive 12 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) for solar and 3 cents per kWh for all other generation sources. That premium is in addition to the KUB retail rate for electricity, plus TVA's quarterly Fuel Cost Adjustment rate. Businesses interested in installing renewable generation with more than 200 kilowatt capacity can go directly through TVA to participate in the Renewable Standard Offer.
