KUB in the Community

KUB exists to serve its customers.

And that goes far beyond pipes and wires. KUB is proud to serve its community with more than reliable utilities.

Embracing the spirit of The Volunteer State, KUB encourages its employees to serve the community through volunteering with local non-profits.

Since 2014, employees have donated more than 20,000 hours to various non-profits including:

  • United Way
  • Second Harvest Food Bank
  • Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley
  • Muse Knoxville
  • The Salvation Army

KUB supports its customers through more than just volunteer work. Project Help, Water Savers, and weatherization projects are some of the ways KUB helps its customers in times of need.

Through its Volunteer Time program, educational outreach, fundraising, and more, KUB has already made a mark on customers' communities. That mark is reflective of a corporate commitment to participate in the communities KUB serves, making them even better places to live, work, and play.
