How to Can the Grease:

  1. Put a heat resistant oven liner in a metal can.
  2. Place the can on a stable surface.
  3. Carefully pour the cooled oil into the can.
  4. Remove the liner, tie it closed, and throw the liner in the trash.
  5. Place a new liner in the can.

Used cooking oil can also be taken to convience centers in a non-glass bottle for recycling.
