ONT Equipment

Upon disconnection, customers are asked to leave their optical network terminal (ONT) at their residence. Below are some examples of our ONTs:

KUB Fiber currently utilizes the white Adtran ONT for most installations, while customers with older service may possess a gray ONT.

Smart Gig Equipment

Customers enrolled in KUB Fiber Smart Gig are required to return the KUB Fiber router and any extenders. Pickup appointments for this equipment may be scheduled with our office within 30 days. Failure to return the equipment within this timeframe will result in a $180 charge. To schedule an appointment, please call (865) 524‑2911.

Below are example images of the KUB Fiber router and extenders.

The white router shown in the image on the right is the standard model used in most KUB Fiber installations. Customers with longer‑standing service may instead have a gray router. Extenders may be either white or gray, but they are noticeably smaller than the router.
