Time of Use Rates

KUB's new Time of Use rate is all about the timing.

If a customer uses most of their energy late at night or on weekends, or they could easily do so, Time of Use rates could be right for them!

KUB's Time of Use Electric Rate Program offers rates that vary based on the time energy is used. Energy used during on-peak hours has a higher rate. Energy used during off-peak hours has a lower rate. Since 83 percent of time is off-peak, some customers could save money by switching to Time of Use rates. And since that energy use is more evenly distributed, the environmental impact is lowered.

If a customer is a residential, GSA1, or GSA2 electric customer with an online account, they can use the button below to get a monthly cost estimation for their usage.
