The Knoxville-area and our neighboring communities were impacted January 19 by severe storms - including wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour and heavy ice - that caused widespread damage and devastation. 

KUB crews and staff behind the scenes were prepared and began response work immediately on January 19. Work continues and will not stop until all customers' power is restored. Details on the status can be found below.
