KUB is part of the community it serves, and KUB cares about its customers, community, and the environment. That is why KUB is working hard to reduce sanitary sewer overflows on the wastewater system. KUB's maintenance and capital programs are addressing the issues through major capital improvements and day-to-day work to keep the system running smoothly.

In the meantime, KUB responds quickly to overflows, posts signs to alert the public to avoid contact, and cleans and sanitizes the area as soon as possible to alleviate any potential health risks. If a customer, their family, or pets do come in contact with a sewer overflow, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

If a customer needs to report an overflow, please call KUB at 865-524-2911.

The chart below shows the date and location of overflows, which are added within 24 hours of when they are reported, and the status of cleanup efforts. The information is posted for the current month or customers can select the month and year they would like to view. If a month is not shown, no incidents occurred that month.

If customers have questions about this information, please email wastewater@kub.org.
