Before We Prune

We will let you know when we are coming. At least two weeks before crews will be in your neighborhood, KUB will send a letter telling you that we will be pruning trees in your area.

Our Tree Pruning Map can also help you see if inspections or pruning will occur in the near future in your neighborhood.

If we spot a tree on your property that needs to be pruned during an inspection, we will mark that tree with paint. We will also leave a door hanger to let you know that tree pruning and/or tree or brush removal is scheduled.

Please contact us with any questions you may have as soon as possible so we can discuss the work before we begin.

If you have a tree that you feel is a danger to the power lines, please contact us immediately. Our staff would be happy to answer any questions you have or schedule a time to walk your property with you and discuss any trees that may interfere with power lines.
